Role Overview: The Retail Manager for YSL is responsible for driving retail sales, ensuring exceptional customer experience, and leading high-performing teams across assigned retail locations. This role plays a pivotal part in translating brand strategy into in-store execution, maximizing business growth, and upholding the luxury positioning of YSL within the L'Oréal Luxe division.

Key Responsibilities:

- Retail Management & Sales Growth

  • Oversee daily retail operations and ensure achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
  • Analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement effective action plans.
  • Monitor and optimize productivity per store and per Beauty Advisor (BA).
  • Ensure visual merchandising and brand standards are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute in-store events and promotional campaigns.

- Team Leadership & People Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and coach Beauty Advisors and store teams.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, driving motivation and performance.
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support career development.
  • Coordinate and ensure completion of all brand and transversal training (product, category, soft skills).

- Customer Experience & Brand Ambassadorship

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a luxury client experience.
  • Drive Customer Experience Excellence (CXE) scores through training and coaching.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the YSL values and ethos.

- Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Guarantee compliance with company policies, including health and safety.
  • Lead the implementation of new retail systems and dashboards (e.g., MARS, Gold).
  • Ensure consistency and efficiency in retail operations across all stores.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Share best practices across business units and brands within L'Oréal Luxe.
  • Work closely with Education Managers to deliver transversal training.
  • Coordinate with Retail Managers of other business units to ensure seamless execution and avoid internal competition.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in luxury beauty or fashion
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Passion for luxury beauty and customer service excellence
