Elevate L'Oréal Nordic’s presence by shaping our media and marketing agency ecosystem! We are looking for a Nordic Media and Marketing Services Buyer - you'll be a strategic partner to the Chief Digital and Marketing team, driving value and innovation through impactful agency partnerships. Reporting to the Nordic Head of Purchasing, you'll lead sourcing initiatives and ensure we collaborate with the best agencies to achieve our ambitious digital vision. The role is based in Copenhagen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead agency selection & partnerships. Orchestrate end-to-end pitch processes for media and marketing agencies across the Nordic region, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to select partners who align with L'Oréal's brand vision and performance goals.
- Champion compliance & risk management. Ensure all agency partnerships adhere to L'Oréal's rigorous compliance standards, achieving full internal audit satisfaction regarding agency pitches and contracts. Proactively identify and mitigate data privacy risks within our supplier relationships.
- Drive value & cost optimization. Deliver significant purchasing savings through strategic negotiation and cost management, maximizing the value of our agency investments.
- Shape the future of digital consumer engagement. Develop and manage a high-performing agency roster, enabling L'Oréal to realize its vision for a seamless and impactful digital consumer journey. This includes media, influencer marketing, CRM, and content ecosystem development.
- Enhance agency relationships & performance. Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with our agency partners, driving continuous improvement in performance, market share growth, top-line revenue, and profitability. Implement robust contracts and KPIs to measure and track agency success.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- PROVEN PROCUREMENT EXPERTISE: 3+ years of experience in indirect purchasing, demonstrating a strong track record of successful agency management and contract negotiation.
- MEDIA & MARKETING LANDSCAPE ACUMEN: Deep understanding of the media, influencer marketing, and content creation landscape, with experience interacting with and evaluating agency performance. Prior experience with a media performance auditor is a plus.
- STRATEGIC VISION & ANALYTICAL PROWESS: Possess strong analytical skills to assess agency capabilities, negotiate favorable terms, and measure performance. A strategic thinker who anticipates future business needs and proactively develops innovative solutions.
- COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP & COMMUNICATION: A confident and credible business partner who can effectively communicate strategic vision and inspire stakeholders. A natural bridge-builder, skilled at forging strong internal and external relationships to identify new opportunities and best practices.
