This is an OFF SHIFT schedule (Saturday-Wednesday)
Your Mission:
As
a Microbiologist for the L'Oreal Manufacturing plant in North Little Rock, AR,
you will be responsible for supporting the Unit of Production (UP) regarding
the quality control of raw materials, bulk, WIP and finished goods for your
favorite L'Oreal brands! You'll work with the Process Expert & UP, as
necessary.
What your day will look like:
Responsibilities are not limited to the below listing:
• Test and release samples requiring
microbiological analysis
• Follow up and resolution of documentation issues
• Good knowledge of ISO and GMP requirements
• Good knowledge of waste management and environmental programs
• Current knowledge of all safety programs including JSAs and SHAPs; job safety
analysis
• Participate in audits as required (ISO, GMP, environmental)
• Equipment calibrations
• Order supplies
• Perform any other duties as directed
• Actively engage in safety programs (MESURE, ISO, etc.)
What you'll need:
- Degree in Microbiology or a science degree with microbiology course work
- 1 year + experience
- Position requires the application of good aseptic technique during testing of samples and the ability to perform investigations of contamination issues as the need arises
