Be responsible for proactively assisting a Head of Finance and Commercial Controller to ensure adherence to key internal controls and to manage the commercial payment cycle. We are looking for a high performing individual to assist the Sales Team in maximising profitable sales opportunities and the Commercial Controller in monitoring the commercial P&L evolution in order to promote optimal decision making within the business

What are key highlights of this role?

Assist Commercial Controller / Sales teams with the preparation of Multi Brand account P&Ls and their interpretation
Assist in monthly reporting cycle / construction of budgets and trends across 2 business units
Preparation of key commercial reports
Business Partner to Multi brand National Accounts Managers
Clear commercial debt conforming to internal control procedures
Ensure sales teams comply with promotional accrual processes and raise provisions using SAP
Report and align on provision balances with sales teams on a regular basis
Ad hoc projects to improve internal controls / reporting / efficiency of debt clearance

Degree Qualification
Excellent analytical skills
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work in an ever changing & demanding environment
Outstanding rigour and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves close liaison with the Sales team
Experience preferably within a consumer driven and fast paced environment
Highly organised with prioritisation skills and strong communication skills  (written and verbal)
Highly numerate – strong analytically and good commercial acumen
Flexibility for an international career is desired but not essential
Strong presentation/communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire
Financial knowledge and experience in managing a P&L, expansion analysis, sales forecasts
The candidate should have an interest in studying for the CIMA qualification
