EHS Manager (Office & DC)
*Place of work: 2/3 of total working hours in Distribution Center(Icheon, Gyeonggi-do) + 1/3 in Office(Samseong-dong, Seoul)

To guarantee the implementation on site of the EHS System of the Group. 
Propose the orientations, the objectives, and the annual EHS program of the Site, observing the ethics rules and the EHS rules of the L'Oréal Group, as well as regulations. 

  • Ensure the observance and the application on the site of the EHS system and policy of L'OREAL.
  • Helps the managers to lead EHS activities in the field.
  • Deliver general EHS training on-site, and drive the EHS training program of the site with HR and managers.
  • Ensure regulatory monitoring, communicate about it, and propose actions to be in line with regulation. 
  • Ensure the expertise and know-how development, carry out organizational changes.
  • Implement continuously the L'Oreal EHS system and policy to assess the requirements' conformity of the site. 
  • Collect, analyze and communicate the EHS performance of the site, propose improvement action plans
  • Contribute to an exhaustive and accurate group EHS reporting.
  • Contribute to reducing the environmental impact on his/her perimeter of activity.
  • Bring his/her expertise during risk analysis. 
  • Bring support and EHS expertise to the operational staff of the site.
  • Carry out EHS internal audits (control of non-conformities, implement and follow-up corrective actions)  and conduct internal environment audits and manage external audits
  • Contribute to inquiries about accidents, incidents, and occupational disease.
  • Contribute to an exhaustive and accurate group EHS reporting. 
  • Maintain regular and transparent contacts with local authorities.
  • Apply and manage risk evaluation methods
  • Allow or prohibit the operation of installations, buildings, or equipment on the site, according to the results of the risk analysis.
  • Manage the budget of the EHS & Facilities & Ensure the efficiency of the EHS management system.
  • Provide efficient communication and EHS training plan, content, and documents
  • Be the coordinator and the guarantor of the correct application of the EHS Management System, and of the Safety and Environment certifications of the site.
  • Advise and supervise decisions in all duties and expertise fields of the EHS and of the Facilities coordinators/supervisors.
  • Benchmark, apply and share EHS best practices from external and internal entities
  • Sponsor and drive the L’Oreal ergonomics program
  • Stop any site operations which are deemed to be too dangerous
  • Monitor and manage maintenance and new installations projects
  • Analyze data and propose adapted solutions to the management team
  • Ensure the protection and the sustainability of the site property and assets.
  • Maintain a secure environment for employees, buildings, and assets by establishing security policies and procedures.
  • Manage the BCP (Business Continuity Plan) and Emergency Plan. 

  • Education: University graduate
  • Years of experience: +7years
  • Experience: Safety, security and firefighting experience or facility maintenance experience preferred 
  • Language: Intermediate and above English writing and speaking
  • Other Skills: Sufficient communication skills with relevant departments. Analysis and problem-solving skills. To be able to provide EHS training to related departments.
