Job Title: Luxe Div. Valentino Beauty – Communication Manager

 

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

We are looking for passionate individuals to join Valentino Beauty team to engage our consumers, media and KOLs by building new beauty dream with Valentino and creation of desire through the unique storytelling linked in fashion. As a member of Valentino Beauty team, you will be responsible for embodying the creativity of the Brand. You are expected to create a unique and luxurious experience for every client through expert storytelling of Valentino Beauty – Color, Cool, Couture and a touch of extravagance yet always with sophistication.

To achieve business objectives, you will be expected to create synergies with Valentino Maison team as well as share your knowledge and expertise. Valentino Beauty will enable you to contribute to the brand image as the new couture brand for MZ- Many colorful ways to be with you -BRIGHTER, BOLDER, MORE BEAUTIFUL.

Define the communication strategy to develop the brand image, its visibility and reinforce locally its reputation over time.

  • Build and implement a 360° external communication strategy in consistency with the international brand communication strategy and the local business strategy for the entity 
  • Develop and implement the integrated communication campaigns on major product launches, brand projects and events (philanthropy, sponsorships, etc).
  • Media publicity: strengthen the media publicity activities (products placement, tie-up and editorial pitch) and build/maintain close relations with top-tier media. Plan and manage media tie-up/editorial contents projects including digital viral communication thru media’s accounts
  • Work closely with PR agency to draft and disseminate press-release for maximum media coverage.
  • Manage Public Relations: spokesperson, ambassadors 
  • Closely monitor media coverage and take pro-active action to maintain favorable brand image, identify issues related to the brand and anticipate crisis, and coordinate with country corporate communication team.
  • Support and advise the Marketing & Communication Team Manager on brand communication topics
  • Advise for internal and external speeches
  • Build and manage an internal communication plan in line with the external plan 
  • Manage yearly and monthly PR budget
  • Provide support for any ad hoc events and/or specific needs

 

 

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Years of experience: 7~8 years of experience in a PR or communications role
  • Specific Career Experience: 
      • A genuine passion for the beauty industry and a strong understanding of current trends.
      • Minimum 5 years experience in Communications within the cosmetic/FMCG industry
  • Language: Fluent in both Korean and English
