About the Role
We are searching for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Key Account Manager to join our Luxe division and further strengthen our strategic partnership for the new business unit of Lifestyle & Exception Fragrances, both online and offline.
This newly created business unit will run independently from the rest of the Luxe division. It combines in one team Marketing and Commercial ownership for these 6 unique fragrance brands: Azzaro, Viktor&Rolf, Ralph Lauren, Maison Margiela, Diesel & Cacharel. The goal of this set-up is to bring out the potential of these brands with speed – reassessing distribution footprint and cracking new business models for each of them. This team will act with a lot of entrepreneurial and commercial spirit, going beyond classical luxe distribution towards a consumer centric distribution footprint.
As Key Account Manager in this team, you will develop a vision and strategy aimed at increasing the visibility and performance of our brands within existing and potential new channels, both offline and online. In contracts to other KAM roles within the division, you are responsible for all retailers doing business on these 6 brands. With focus and speed, you will bring out untapped business potential and unlock market share growth.
Working collaboratively with the rest of the Lifestyle & Exceptional Fragrances team, you will be the primary contact for the clients. You will contribute to budget planning and be accountable for its execution and achievement of defined results. Building a strong and collaborative relationship with your client will be key. This role seamlessly blends vision, strategy, and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
This position offers a blend of strategic and operational tasks. Working alongside your counterparts, you will drive growth across various channels for our brands. You will achieve this by:
- Designing and implementing comprehensive online and offline activations, encompassing areas such as assortment, merchandising, CRM, and media, in close collaboration with the Brand Product Manager and other Key Account Managers.
- Managing expenditures within budget and overseeing the logistics process.
- Developing a joint consumer-centric strategy with the retailer, grounded in market insights and trends.
- Creating accurate forecasts and delivering results across sales, market share, and profit. You will ensure flawless execution and continuously monitor developments for all retail partners
- Leading negotiations with the existing retailers, focused on creating added value within the partnership.
- Opening of new retailers / channels in line with the new distribution strategy.
- Cultivating strong external relationships with the teams of your clients
- Collaborating internally with various departments within the division, including the Retail team, Marketing, Digital, Education, Finance, and Supply Chain.
Profile
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, ambitious, and pragmatic. You possess strong negotiation skills coupled with a commercial and analytical mindset, essential for managing client interactions. Given the significant portion of revenue generated online, a strong understanding of the digital landscape is crucial. As a team player, you will collaborate closely with the commercial team. Excellent interpersonal skills are vital for building robust client relationships and a strong internal network.
Must-Haves:
- Master's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in (Online) Key Account Management
- Experience with online sales
- Strong commercial drive
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, results-oriented, and analytical
- Excellent communication skills and adept at developing and nurturing relationships
- Fluent in Dutch and English
