Key Job Accountabilities / 主要職務　            

Position Overview:            

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Controller to join Commercial Controlling Team. As a Commercial Controller, you will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and providing strategic insights to support business decisions based on deeper understanding of business model and challenges. You will be responsible for analyzing sales data, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.            

Responsibilities:            

- Analyze sales data and financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.            

- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.            

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies and optimize revenue generation.            

- Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to senior management.            

- Conduct regular financial reviews and provide guidance to ensure adherence to financial targets.            

- Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support decision-making processes.            

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.            

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.            

- Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements.            

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.            

Must Have Aspects / 必須項目             

- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.            

- Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques with more than 3 years experience.            

- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles with more than 3 years experience.            

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.            

- Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders both in Japanese and English            

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.            

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.

Expectation/ 期待            

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA qualification is a plus.            

- Proven experience as a Commercial Controller or similar role, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
