If selected for this one year co-op, you will be assigned a challenging project that will offer you the opportunity to make a sustainable impact on the efficiencies of our manufacturing plant.  This opportunities is in Industrial Quality.   

Program Qualifications:

  • Candidate for Bachelor’s degree in Packaging or Industrial Engineering
  • Good academic standing, minimum of 3.25 GPA
  • Prior Co-op or internship
  • Demonstrated leadership and creativity
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • A desire to work in a dynamic, challenging work environment
  • Passionate about your work
  • A global mindset and geographical flexibility
  • Knowledge of computer software packages (Microsoft Office)
  • Legally eligible to work in US on a permanent, on-going basis, without assistance.
  • Available to work at least 35 hours per week (prefer 40 hr/week), January 2021 to December 2021.

Job Description:

  • Statistical sampling and conducting tests on packaging components, bulk and finished goods.
  • Quality Inspection/process implementation on packaging lines.
  • Line capabilities evaluation.
  • Coordinate actions to improve line capabilities in partnership with the production department.
  • Partner with Process Optimization Line Engineer in the production department line trials.
  • Conduct Quality System audits with diligence, ensuring that concerns are pointed out and collaborate with production department on how to correct/make changes
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and implement L’Oreal safety and environmental programs
