Purpose of the position:
Managing a sales team responsible for selling cosmetic products in the drugstore channel and cooperating with the organization's strategic client. Reporting directly to the Sales Drug Channel Manager.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry or 8-10 years of experience in sales (health & beauty industry preferred).
- Min. 3 years’ experience in sales team management (1-3 people).
- Higher Education.
- Fluency in both Polish and English..
Tasks on the job:
- Managing a KAMs team (2-3 people) and a matrix Instore Excellence manager (1 person).
- Cooperation within the cross-functional Customer Team, of which you are the leader, managing people from various key departments of the company (approximately 15-20 people) through influence management.
- Management the accounts sales growth and profitability in line with BU/entity objectives.
- Create and implement an annual business plan taking into account all levers of growth: commercial agreements, marketing actions, education, merchandising, retail opportunities, profitability and trade terms.
- Build the action plan to implement the Division and channel strategy. Ensure its’ execution and tracking down to store level and sell out. Manage plan adaptation when needed.
- Monitor the accounts’ performance with business plan and develop alternative strategies when needed.
- Communicate critical business information to the appropriate internal contacts for action.
- Conducting annual negotiations with the subordinate client and in cooperation with the team and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the commercial vision by sharing account perspective, risks and opportunities.
- Work together with the KAMs to build accurate forecasts and achieve the account (s) results: turnover, profitability and client contribution. Make sure that the growth drivers are planned accordingly.
- Execute that all the tasks of the team are conducted on-time and in a qualitative way (reporting tools, presentations etc.)
- Make sure that negotiations in categories are well prepared, support the KAMs throughout the process and engage when escalation is needed.
- Act as the expert of the accounts to feed a retailer-centric account planning process, to ensure as much alignment as possible in the joint business plans and a compelling story to get retailer buying in.
- Build a deep customer intelligence and strong network with key stakeholders at the retailers.
- Work closely with internal departments: Category team, Supply/Demand, Finance, Marketing.
- Connect Account key stakeholders of all functions with their L’Oréal counterparts.
- Ensure the consistency of L’Oréal voices when speaking to the retailer.
