Job Summary:

As a key member of the HR team supporting the fastest growing division at L’Oreal USA, you will be a strategic partner to help drive and support the development of our teams to enhance our organizational performance and effectiveness, focusing on: Learning and Organizational Transformation for the Active Cosmetics Division, inclusive of all US and DMI teams.

This role will anticipate and optimize the organization’s people needs to align with the overall business strategy. You will assess, translate, animate and lead scalable solutions, resources & tools for employees, leaders and HR as a way to develop our talent and drive business transformation efforts throughout the organization. Some of these areas of focus include but are not limited to: Simplicity action planning, strategic alignment and framing, culture and purpose, change management, leadership/team assimilation and development, learning programs and roadmaps to build personal/professional expertise, onboarding and employee experience. You will serve as an essential bridge to our USA and Global Learning & Org Development teams to ensure we are building the most effective programs, providing them with meaningful insight and feedback into the efficacy of our current offerings and outlining other needs accordingly.

 

 

 

Key Job Accountabilities:

 
    • Organizational Transformation and Change Management
      • Analyze and share PULSE survey results, other data and insights with key stakeholders with a strong ability to story-tell through data
      • Provide resources, tools and materials for HR and leaders to build and drive actionable plans, including toolkits designed to enable the overall effectiveness of/adherence to change within the division. Leverage and adapt internal tools and frameworks from our L’Oreal Centers of Excellence while considering external resources as appropriate
      • Ensure results and action plans are communicated throughout the organization, creating compelling communication plans to increase survey awareness & engagement
      • Lead, animate and foster our community of Champions, creating 2-way, dynamic dialogue on Corporate/Divisional topics with our employee population
      • Prepare comprehensive change and workforce transition plans and programs, including strategies to support change and transition initiatives
      • Create feedback loops and engage key stakeholders to understand current climate and path forward (team/group check-ins, listening circles, surveys)
      • Consult and create division, brand, and function communications
      • Implement, track assessments and metrics of action plan effectiveness

 

    • Learning and Development
      • Partner with L’Oreal USA Learning and People Development team and the ACD HR Global Learning team on the strategy to drive key learning initiatives and customize learning paths for the division, based on function, level and development areas
      • Ensure that all of our division wide employee learning (especially our field sales education initiatives) are being tracked and integrated into the L’Oreal USA learning frame
      • Create engaging and exciting campaigns to promote learning offerings, leadership development programs and organizational initiatives, i.e. presentations, newsletters, infographics
      • Build communities of learning, leveraging internal and external partners, online platforms, outside vendors and additional resources
      • Manage Learning budget
      • Facilitate team effectiveness sessions and/or source internal/external facilitators, where needed
      • Manage the Executive Coaching process with leaders and external coaches
      • Identify gaps in current learning offerings and customize offerings to fill gaps; provide feedback to USA and Global learning teams on Active Cosmetics Division needs not addressed in current offerings
      • Source nominations for US & Global Nomination Programs and liaise with US & Global Learning Team to ensure representation
      • Increase employee engagement in open enrollment programs
      • In partnership with HR team and leaders, evolve and facilitate onboarding program for newcomers to the division, ensuring a top notch employee experience.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferred focus in Psychology, Org Dev, HR
  • Prior HR and/or People Management experience: minimum of 5+ years
  • Experience in global, multi-national companies
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication (verbal/written), negotiation, presentation, facilitation, interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, intellect, executive presence and cross-cultural awareness
  • Strong ability to lead through influence and mobilize teams to impact change
  • Navigate & drive solutions in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Must have a sense of urgency and results/service orientation with a high degree of flexibility, adaptability and responsiveness; ability to handle fast pace and operate with ambiguity
  • Business acumen - In-depth knowledge of business objectives, the people aspect of the division, brand and function, competitors, market trends and consumers
  • Microsoft Office Suite computer excellence – Excel and Powerpoint mastery
