The Director of Visual Merchandising will be responsible for realizing the company vision into an exciting and stimulating visual

program from a day to day and season to season manor that attracts consumers, engages them as they enter our stores, 

showcase new and existing products and reveals our brand story. This position oversees merchandising display strategies, retail 

collateral and window concepts.  

 Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for visual merchandising vision for all NYX PMU freestanding stores, drug accounts and shop in shops

• Identifying insights and opportunities that benefit the business and drives sales 

• Lead and manage team of designers to create visually arresting, lively visual displays to attract, engage and connect with


• Maintain strong understanding of the competitive landscape; staying close to marketplace and following brand evolutions

• Keen awareness of current trends in visual arts, design, fashion and beauty

• Utilize and equal combination of analytical skills, creative problem solving, elevated design taste and vision. 


• 7+ years strong technical, communication and visual merchandising background

• Comfortable in a high-paced environment

• Highly conceptual design experience

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Results oriented and action driven

• Strategic planner, analytical and ability to identify issues and solutions in a proactive manner

• Ability to take initiative, ownership and accountability for projects

• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task

• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate


• 5 - 7 years of corporate visual merchandising experience

• Bachelor degree, preferably in Design, Merchandising, Fine Arts or Interior Design

• Computer Skills - Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Excel and Microsoft office/ PowerPoint 

• High level of creativity (must be able to communicate ideas, sketch, etc.)

• People management experience
