Who am I?
As Digital Media Manager, you are part of the Media Team, together with the Media Director and the Media Manager. The media team ensures an optimal investment in Media in order to grow our brands together with the business teams. 

The Digital Media Manager drives knowledge and quality of all digital channels with a focus on lower funnel media execution: performance media that drives sales and retail media. 

You'll collaborate closely with our media agency and partners such as Google, Facebook, and TikTok on two key fronts:


  • Driving Innovation:  You'll work together to develop hypotheses for media tests and innovative approaches, constantly seeking ways to elevate our campaigns. 


  • Elevating Retail Media: You'll partner with both the agency and our e-marketing leads to refine and advance our retail media strategy, taking it to the next level of impact.


You collect best practices and share these with the different marketing teams to upskill the organization and to increase our media performance.



Your responsibilities

  • You will play a crucial role within the media team by spearheading the development of our digital and retail media strategy.        You’re essential in not only defining this framework but also ensuring its successful implementation across all marketing teams. You will act as the guardian of execution, ensuring the strategy is brought to life effectively and delivers impactful results
  • Managing the partnership with the retail media team & digital team from our agency and work closely together with the marketing and e-com specialists in the four divisions of L’Oréal
  • You'll have the opportunity to collaborate directly with our local retailers, actively participating in the development of Joint Business Plans (JBPs). This will ensure our media strategies are aligned with their goals and drive mutual growth
  • Drive, own and execute the Test & learn agenda: translate JBP’s with Google, Facebook & TikTok, into the Test & learn plan and add local relevancy to it. Implement this into our media strategy and tactics to drive more efficient and impact full media campaigns
  • With your deep understanding on 1&2P (retailer data) media activation & growth, you’ll prepare L’Oréal BNL further for the cookieless era by driving the 1&2P T&L agenda, ensuring we’re ahead of the curve and set up for continued success
  • You are the expert and resource related to digital media knowledge & execution within L’Oréal. Making you the go-to person for all digital media questions and answers within L’Oréal.
  • As the expert on digital media, you’ll upskill the digital media knowledge of the marketeers (f.e. search, sponsored products, new formats/channels/tactics)
  • Keep track on the performance and implementation of the L’Oréal Digital Platform Golden Rules with the aim to improve our media campaigns while guarding the overall media strategy

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A Master’s degree 
  • Digital experience and is data driven
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for details
  • Can set priorities in a VUCA world
  • Speaks English, and either Dutch or French
  • 4+ years of work experience and preferably some years in a digital role within a media agency
