Communications & Advocacy Manager - Decleor


L’Oréal Active Cosmetics Division is seeking a dynamic, experienced and innovative Communication & Advocacy Manager to shape the future success of one of its brands - Decléor. The role reports into the Brand Business Director and has a dotted line to the Head of Communications & Advocacy

You Will:

·Define the communication strategy to develop the brand image, its visibility and reinforce locally its reputation over time
·Build and implement a 360° external consumer and trade communication strategy in consistency with the international brand communication strategy and the local business strategy for the entity
·Lead external agencies to deliver communications activations and press office
·Manage media and influencer relations - identify the relevant advocates and titles for the brand
·Manage influencer partnerships, including affiliate partnerships
·Coordinate with the country corporate communication team - Managing Public Relations: spokesperson, ambassadors
·Develop the brand image and visibility locally: adapting locally the corporate positioning of the Brand (philanthropy, sponsoring…) and developing local initiatives in line with the international strategy
·Utilise advocacy measurement tools to monitor performance and meet brand objectives
·Manage content strategy, including live stream activations
·Support and advise the Brand Business Director on corporate communication topics:  building the image strategy of the Brand Business Director (content and target)
·Prepare interviews including media-training - Advising for internal and external speeches
·Manage internal communication for the Brand - Building an internal communication plan in line with the external plan
·Develop the brand image internally - Identifying issues related to the brand and anticipating crisis
·Ensure development of expertise and know-how and support organization changes
·Manage the Department’s budget

You Have:

Alongside experience in a similar role and excellent communication skills, you should be confident demonstrating all of the following:

·Presentation skills – confident with conviction
·Creative eye with attention to detail
·Ability to work independently ensuring that regular updates are provided to key stakeholders
·Ability to show evidence of working in a fast paced and demanding workplace
·Excellent team player willing to pitch in and support the wider team where required
·Proficient at creating and maintaining an authentic brand voice across branded social media platforms
·Understanding of social media management and analytics tools
