Under the management of the CFO of L’Oréal Research and Innovation you will join the management team for a role of Finance Director.

You will work in close collaboration with the General Managers of the departments for which you will be responsible. You will be a member of the R&I finance management committee as well as a member of the operational ones. 

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As a Financial Manager, your main responsibilities are:

• Drive finance strategy trajectories in line with R&I strategic pillars
• Manage the Plan/Budget/Trend process for your scope: quantify the major objectives, analyze, arbitrate and report to the management of the different departments
• Optimize the costs and effectiveness of actions undertaken in compliance with Internal Control Standards and good practices
• Ensure management reporting and design dashboards and relevant indicators to advise Management, propose and implement the necessary actions
• Research and propose sources of savings and productivity: costs, organization, processes
• Participate in team development / Coordinate the work and manage the actions of your teams while respecting deadlines and procedures

PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES 

• 10+ years’ experience in the Finance/Accounting area, with solid background in business planning and financial analysis in similar 
• Master Degree in Finance/Accounting required
• Ability to identify issues/ concerns and develop effective solutions
• Strong team builder and strong communication and influencing skills
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) preferred
