Azzaro Mugler Beaute (AMB) Counter Manager House of Fraser Metrocentre (30 hrs over 5 days) 3 Months Fixed Term


AMB houses the fragrances of Mugler and Azzaro. We want to empower women and men with our stunning fragrances. You will be part of an expert team driving brand awareness and sales for these luxury and lifestyle brands.

Fragrance is your passion and with options such as ‘Angel’ and ‘Alien’ within our collection of eau de parfum, you can truly offer a personalised service to help clients find their perfect scent. Through story telling you’ll bring our luxury fragrance to life and with training on ingredients and heritage you’ll truly become an expert.

Playing a vital role, you’ll take ownership of our business in store, you’ll be tasked with scouting out new sales opportunities, and you’ll get creative as you come up with new ways of building your client base, through promotions, events and other initiatives.

You will be responsible for driving sales and the highest standards of customer service. Tenacity therefore is a crucial part of the role, as you engage and work alongside the store teams to achieve set targets and represent our brand standards.

This role will suit you if you’ve a proven sales track record, gained within a luxury retail or cosmetics environment (fragrance experience would be a plus). You’ll be commercially minded and will be able to show where you’ve thought creatively to drive business growth. Finally, you’ll be a natural leader, able to inspire others and gain loyalty from new and existing customers.

To be successful you have…

  • Excellent business acumen including sales analysis, inventory management and organising staffing.
  • Proven success achieving personal sales targets while leading a team to achieve and exceed their targets.
  • Develop and coach the team on counter to perform at the best of their ability and work on their personal development.
  • Experience delivering on counter events as well as the initiative to create events to drive your business in the community and store.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Embrace digital business tools and be an ambassador for these within your team.
  • Identify business strengths at store level and use initiative to coordinate with retail and training team for actions to maximise selling opportunities.
  • Devise retention strategies for the individuals on counter.
  • Develop positive relationships with department store floor managers and head office.
  • Be a brand ambassador with your attitude, eventing and on-brand grooming.
  • Convey passion and master storytelling to our clients
  • Connect with our clients by providing good solutions and after sales.
  • Ability to work flexibly during retail hours, which is likely to include evenings, weekends and holidays (except Christmas day).
