The Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and corporate leadership in implementing the local and national recruitment strategy for SalonCentric’s corporate roles. This role will support the lifecycle candidate journey, from application through the interview process, to disposition or onboarding. This position requires excellent organizational skills, communication, and ability to build relationships. This position is located in at the SalonCentric headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida and will travel as needed determined by business need.


  • Partnering with business leadership to provide consultation and support on talent matters, sourcing needs
  • Creating and posting job requisitions for corporate positions.
  • Manage recruitment strategy for given population; Uses creative and cost-effective sourcing methods to generate potential talent and recommend candidates who meet agreed upon hiring profiles.
  • Manage applicant tracking system and job requisition folders to maintain compliance with Affirmative Action as well as company policy and procedure.
  • Screening, reviewing and recommending candidates for assigned open roles based on organizational goals and needs.
  • Managing the flow of applicants through interview process from initial screening to offer stage, partnering with hiring managers to ensure most qualified candidate is selected
  • Partner with Director – Human Resources to draft and manage offer letters for candidates
  • Coordinate pre-employment background and drug screenings.
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure successful on-boarding for new hires.
  • Other recruitment, staffing, and candidate & employee experience duties as assigned


  • BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or relevant field required, or commensurate recruiting/staffing experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years diverse and progressive recruitment experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Has demonstrated recruiting experience using multiple sourcing techniques and ability to seek out creative strategies on an ongoing basis.
  • Project management skills, team orientation, commitment to service and quality.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Experience with human resource information systems and applicant tracking systems required.
  • Strategic and business focused.
  • Influential, Knowledgeable and Innovative.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel, as needed, to other SalonCentric or L’Oreal sites
