R&I PMOs are agents of local, on-the-ground transformation, whose role is to secure and support R&I transformation by through methodological expertise (essentially project management) and soft skills (people).
The Head PMO's mission is to support internal customers through 3 levers: allocation of PMO resources (internal or external), coaching and upskilling (in collaboration with the Learning for Development department).
PMO's field of expertise includes the management of:
- innovation projects (from framing to biseau)
- cross-entity innovation and development programs
- digital initiatives in agile mode.
The Head PMO will work to broaden this field of expertise towards new ways of working in line with the transformation of the Métiers.
The scope of action of the Head PMO Métiers France includes the 6 categorical Métiers, the 3 scientific excellence Métiers, the Métiers digital transformation and Green Sciences transformation.
As Head of PMO, your main responsibilities are :
Stakeholder Management
- Be the key partner for the members of the ManCom Métiers (responsible for categorical and scientific excellence Métiers, Green & Digital transformation, PFM, ...)
- Drive the transformation of business units in the field via his/her team
- Prioritize and allocate internal and external resources to innovation projects and digital transformation initiatives
- Management of internal and external resources (service providers)
Build/Co-Create the organization of the PMO Métiers team and lead this team:
- Sizing the necessary resources and allocating available resources in line with the priorities of domain directors and portfolio managers.
- Recruit and manage this team, integrate new arrivals, and set individual objectives, create the conditions for the team's success.
- Support the development of the team by creating a work environment that stimulates learning and creativity, and that promotes project management expertise (methods, facilitation, etc.) and the transformation of projects into market innovations.
- Upskilling the PMO team in new skills to match new activities.
Professionalization of project leaders in project management:
- Identify training needs in conjunction with their manager/area manager.
- Act as local PM referent for PM4R training courses.
Professionalization of project leaders in project management:

- Act as local PM referent for PM4R&I training to ensure that training/tools are anchored in the L'Oréal R&I 360 context.
Team activity management:
- Monitor budget and manage activity-related expenses
- Monitor activity and performance indicators for the team and its scope.
To succeed in this position, you have :
- Bac+5/Master's Degree
