Are you ready for a dynamic role where you lead the way and manage central Data & Analytics projects with an agile approach? At L'Oréal we're looking for a Senior Product Owner/Data Project Manager who is ready to take on this exciting challenge.


Your Role:

As the Senior Product Owner/Data Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to become a data-driven organization. 
 Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating & drive the Agile delivery of an extensive Data Roadmap for Germany, Austria and Switzerland that fosters collaboration among business units, gives priority to key requirements, and seamlessly aligns with our data strategy and business objectives.
  • Planning and executing market rollouts of international data product, including stakeholders' needs assessments, gap analysis, addressing risks and roadblocks, and translating requirements into actionable tickets and user stories.
  • Proactive communication and collaboration across departments to identify and align data, reporting, and analytics needs and challenges.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
  • Effectively managing requirements, actively facilitating their implementation, and monitoring progress.
  • Taking ownership of agile methodologies and tools, positioning you as the driving force behind the scenes.


Your Qualifications:

In order to succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Several years of valuable experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in Data/Analytics.
  • Expertise in agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban) in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to provide clear direction amidst uncertainty.
  • High customer focus, independence, dedication, and a hands-on approach.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker), a talent for clear and efficient communication.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform) and the Microsoft Technology Stack.
  • Outgoing personality with a "rally the crowd" mindset, able to influence decision-making within a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus).
  • Comfort in a fast-paced and changing environment.

This role includes being part of the Leadership Team (LT) of CDAO. The LT is at the forefront of decision-making, and your role will involve significant influence and responsibility. You'll be part of shaping the future of our organization.
