What you will do: 

 

  • Build visually compelling and technically robust solutions (self service, dashboards, etc).
  • Develop advanced DAX logic to reflect complex business logic.
  • Maintain and evolve semantic data models for various reporting use cases.
  • Work with data engineers to ensure models are optimized for performance.
  • Implement automated refresh, scheduling, and access controls.
  • Improve visualization logic, navigation, and UX consistency.
  • Document calculations, metrics, and underlying data logic.
  • Contribute to standardization and component reuse across solutions.
  • Support power users and business teams in dashboard adoption.
  • Participate in QA and validation processes to ensure data accuracy.

 

What we are looking for:  

 

  • Strong Power BI development expertise, including DAX and modeling.
  • Ability to build and manage scalable reports and dataflows.
  • Knowledge of data integration from BigQuery or APIs.
  • Performance troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Understanding of data structure and dashboard UX.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and experience working in agile BI teams.
  • Creative yet logical problem-solver with a strong user focus.
  • Technical problem-solving in BI tools.
  • Effective communicator with ability to explain technical elements clearly.

 

Years of experience required:
4-6 years in dashboard development or data visualization roles. 

 

Tools & Technologies: 

  • Power BI (Advanced)
  • DAX, Power Query
  • Power BI Service, refresh scheduling, RLS
  • BigQuery or SQL data sources
  • Version control in BI environments (manual or automated)

 

Technical knowledge / certifications: 

  • Advanced knowledge of dashboard performance and UX
  • Experience with storytelling through data
  • Hands-on experience with KPI, metric logic, and functional testing
  • Familiarity with Power BI Embedded / APIs (optional)
