MANUFACTURING ENGINEER INTERNSHIP
In Settimo Torinese, Italy, is active one of the main production centers of L’Oréal Group in the world. The plant's products are distributed in 30 countries. The production site is a full expression of the industrial, social and environmental values of the Group: quality, the result of innovation and control in production, safety of the working environments, minimal impact on the environment. Between 2005 e il 2020 in terms of enviromental management, outstanding results have been reached. The site is in fact carbon neutral since 2015 and since 2018 is also a waterloop factory, that is a production site which consumes water solely as a raw material for products and not for other uses. In this way more than 40,000 m3 are reused and therefore saved every year, equal to over 80 swimming pool of 25 m.
For our site we are looking for an Engineer to join the Production team.
The candidate will follow a training path aimed to understand the dynamics and production processes, where they can put into practice all the knowledge they have acquired with their studies and previous experiences, collaborating with different teams and interfacing with different internal and external interlocutors at the Plant.
Key responsibilities:
- Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing
- Collaboration with Performance, Quality and Safety Departments
- Support the continuous improvement projects in the production department
- Analysis of department indicators, such as production progress, waste, quality, and safety indicators
- Follow up and support production planning management
Requirements:
- Master's degree in engineering (path: mechanical, management, industrial production, chemistry)
- Previous experience in the production field is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of the Italian language and good knowledge of English; French is a plus
- Complete mastery of Microsoft Office and data analyst programs
- Strong passion for the Operations world and curious to know it all
- Involvement and motivation to work in a team
- Great communicator, flexible, innovative and ambitious
