YOU WILL...

Be a dynamic, energetic and resilient Project Manager able to demonstrate true leadership in the delivery of innovative projects in active partnership with our business teams.

As a key member of the Business Applications team within the UK & Ireland Hub, the purpose of this role is to deliver projects across a range of technologies, in areas such as Sales Force Management, Customer Relationship, Commercial Workflows, Employee Engagement, Digital and Retail. As a key project in 2021, the initial focus will be Business Planning & Forecasting. As a key hub for Pilot projects driving the continued growth of the L’Oréal brands, you can expect to spearheading the roll-out of European initiatives in the UKI, working with EMEA and Global IT teams. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment on a broad portfolio of both local and international projects. It will also mean close, cooperative relationships with an active, collaborative business community to ensure that we maximize the benefit of new technology.

Your key job accountabilities

Deliver on time, on cost, projects of the highest quality through effective planning and documentation, following established L’Oreal project methodology and governance
Participation in defining the business case, cost model and overall objectives of a project
Vendor Selection and Contracts Preparation
Ensure that all projects are properly resourced and supported by the business
Business expectations converted into signed-off business requirements
Integration into the existing application landscape involving appropriate contacts
Coordinating testing and training completed by key users who will provide on-going first line support
Providing high-quality support to the key users and hence to the wider business community during and after the projects, including maintaining focus on Group norms and legal obligations, including data processing and IT security
Ensure the correct transfer of knowledge to ensure quality of operation
Manage the supplier relationship for project and business-as-usual activities, ensuring excellence in processes including escalation of support calls within the external and internal IT teams

YOU HAVE...
We are specifically seeking a project manager with significant Business/Customer Planning and Forecasting experience, ideally but not necessarily in the FMCG field, including Trade Promotion Management. You will have a thorough understanding of Sales and Operations Planning. Ideally you will have overseen the implementation and/or management of planning and forecasting systems which optimise trade fuel spend through promotional ROI optimisation, forecasting, controlling and monitoring. You may also have expertise in demand sensing systems.
Experience in deploying, or using, general planning and performance management software such as Anaplan would also be highly beneficial
Strong Project Management experience, ideally working in both Waterfall and Agile environments
Experience either working in an IT team or working in partnership with IT on technology projects
Highly organised with prioritisation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while under pressure
The flexibility to travel to various sites in the UK (and potentially abroad), including overnight stays at certain times.
