Job Title: (Sr.) Finance Controller – KIC
WHO WE ARE:
Finance team at L'Oréal plays a critical role in safeguarding the company's financial health and stability. They provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, manage risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Finance team contributes to the overall success and sustainability of L'Oréal.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Financial planning, closing & reporting
- Timely reporting on Compass and Magnitude (monthly closing, Trend, Prebudget and Budget)
- Review and Confirm SAP postings including uploading necessary JVs
- Other post-closing reportings (e.g. R&I SAP extracts reporting, R&I Scientific cost/commit reporting, DO HC reporting)
- Collaborate with R&I/DMI/OPS stakeholders to draft Trend/Prebudget/Budget
- Regular communication with Global Finance Teams regarding landing, and R&I Scientific cost to Domain controllers
- Report to KIC Mancom of each division (Marketing, Operation and R&I): Monthly closing, issues regarding Landing/Budget/Trend
Internal control / Cost management
- Monitor cost spending (R&O analysis) + continuous follow-up with KIC divisions/team members about dev/mkt/scientific cost vs. target(Trend/Budget)
- Review and approve requests in MyMarket (PO), GW (e.g. TRF, internal order, benefits, etc)
- Management of PO (GR/IR monitoring)
- Modifications of SAP rules (e.g. IPC allocation, CC, etc)
- Validations of passed-on data (i.e. HC/FTE, IPC, Corp cost, Allocations)
- Asset/Prepayment/Provision Management
- Rebillings alignment/communication and application (regular and one-offs)
Other ad-hocs
- Support internal/external audits
- -Provide finance FIT to newcomers
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education : University graduate (Accounting, Finance, or any relevant Business/Finance major preferred)
- Years of experience : Min. 5 years in Financial Planning / FP&A solid experience
- Specific Career Experience :
-Experience in the FMCG industry (Offline+Online Business model)
-Must showcase advanced-level the MS Excel
-SAP & PowerBI experience preferred
- Language: Fluent in both Korean and English
- Skills: good communication skills (both written and verbal) and team player
