YOUR FUTURE TEAM

L’Oréal Master Data IT team is still at its early age, but already engaged in significant development and role expansion, bearing major ambitions!

 

Today, our Team already manage Product and Finance Master Data, globally at Group level, for both our factories and market sales activities, worldwide.

In close partnership with Data & Analytics Governance Organization, we are now engaged in building solutions for more Master Data to be managed at Group level, from various Data Domains, such as, for example, Retail Point of Sales (Commerce), or Websites Repository (Digital Marketing), a list rapidly expanding.

 

But such initiatives do not only require Master Data Management capabilities and skills: MDs are also requiring Analytics capabilities. It is in this perspective that we are seeking for our Master Data Analytics Lead, accountable for proposing and delivering Analytics solutions contributing to Master Data Management in the following 3 configurations: 

  1. In full responsibility for master data consistency & quality checks solutions, use cases triggering MS Power BI on Tibco EBX platform tables (mono source MDM),
  2. In full responsibility also for master data end-to-end interfaces monitoring solutions, use cases requiring MS Power BI on ELK platform (multi-source applications connected to MDM),
  3. In accompaniment of other IT Analytics teams for all their usage of master data and referential in analytics data models serving Analytics Use Cases, on Google Cloud Platform environment.

 

Join a young & dynamic team: two third of IT Master Data members have been now for less than 2 years in their current position, one fourth of our job positions were newly created within the 2 last years !

 

What a day in the life of the IT Master Data team looks like: 

Reporting directly to IT Master Data Director, as MD Analytics Lead, you will:

  • Coordinate: Represent Master Data Analytics, facing the various Data Domains exercising Data Governance, and their solutions owners as well as their key users spread across many business units / Represent Master Data Analytics, facing other IT teams : Data Factory team in charge of Data Platform, and all other IT teams in charge of MDM source or consuming applications.
  • Organize: Analyze business needs, in collaboration with Applications Owners, for any enhancement or new project subject of Master Data Analytics use cases / Frame and design IT solutions to build as answers to these needs / Participate to the design, the build and the evolution of inbound data processing from sources, the modeling of datamarts and queries, reports & visualizations contributing to these cases / Guarantee global consistency, and respect of Data Factory guidelines for these MD Analytics solutions.
  • Build: Assess and validates expert profiles who will contribute to development and maintenance of MD Analytics / Guarantee development and project management down to deliverables quality and go-live reliability / Ensure respect of plannings, budgets and priorities / Bear responsibility of global consistency of Analytics MD architecture 
  • Support: Be responsible for support of Master Data Analytics live solutions / Coordinate the support organization to live users

  

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED!

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have:

  • An engineer in Information Technology, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in development, then project management for Analytics or Business Intelligence solutions. You already have proven capability to select and manage BI/Analytics developers, either external or internal, as well as to frame, organize and manage projects in this field.
  • You bring a solid BI/Analytics expertise, based on an effective practice through each of the lifecycle steps of a project [analysis of needs, specifications, development, validation through unitary & volume testing, documentation, support to production go-live until stabilization], experimented on following technologies : Google Cloud platform, Big Query and/or SQL, MS Power BI, data cataloging, data modeling, data analytics processing, data exploration, data querying, data visualization skills (soft and hard).
  • You can exchange fluently in English on your topics in an international context, among people from many nationalities, both orally (phone, videoconference, on-site) and by written (documents, mails, chat)
  • You may bring as an option technical knowledge about SAP Business Object, ELK, TIBCO, Looker, SAP Fiori, APIs.
