Your Misson

  • You are the lead of insights, development & growth for my chosen categories across ALL channels. 
  • You are accountable for driving development & category growth in a profitable way through value creating strategy and channel differentiation. You manage a team of Category Developer, Category Manager and Activation Manager.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


CREATE CATEGORY STRATEGY TO MAXIMIZE GROWTH: 

  • Define National Action Plan for respective category for PL & BL markets.
  • Lead Category Growth plan together with multifunctional team: 1Y to 3Y planning.
  • Build Category Growth Story and support with Category Development projects.
  • Lead Category Growth meetings to cascade category priorities across the CPD organization.


LEAD CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT: 

  • Analyze Category Performance and gather Category Shopper Insights.
  • Define the ambitions of Market Shares and Share of Space.
  • Define Key Category Projects and assortment, distribution and activations priorities.
  • Lead category assortment strategy (channel differentiation, format strategy, exclusivity management) and HUB harmonization.
  • Lead the Cross Functional Category and Activation Team to achieve excellence in Activation.


VALUE CREATION

  • Co-Definition of the Promotional Strategy together with RGM. Definition of the Golden Rules of the categories. Co-Design and follow up of the national promotional strategy. 
  • Lead key RGM projects (e.g. format strategy, conjoints etc.) with support of RGM team.
