POSITION TITLE: Director – US Marketing (Lip Category)

POSITION SUMMARY:

NYX Professional Makeup is looking to hire a Director –Marketing. This role will be responsible for managing and growing projects and people in Lip category. A strong interest in the makeup space and deep knowledge of the global beauty landscape is critical. 

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Set vision for Lip category/portfolio and rally team around it
• Manage short- and long-term strategy needs of the product/brand portfolio
• Manage and develop people and teams; influence team structure
• Interact effectively with other functions to ensure broad buy-in; present to retailers, distributors, etc.
• Assess media recommendations and own communication objectives and strategies for category/portfolio
• Manage the Marketing financial process for category; responsible for gross margin, forecasting accuracy, COGs for product portfolio, brand sales and P&L
• Develop a deep knowledge of the marketplace and consumers
• Create and present to management as necessary
• Oversee, nurture and develop category team

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or International Business, Master’s degree preferred
• Highly knowledgeable and passionate about the beauty world and beauty trends
• Minimum of 7+ years of marketing experience
• Proven track record of developing high performance teams

Salary Range: $128,000- $180,000 + bonus
