We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a deep passion for eCommerce, experience across IT domains and a growth mindset to join our dynamic and fast-paced eCommerce team.  This individual will collaborate with technology, business, and service partners to create a technology strategy for marketplace, social platforms and eRetail entities, with IT execution and support for the ecosystem. The solution minded candidate will cover the spectrum of applications across media, ecommerce, feed aggregators, social, CRM, retail, OMS and SAP, analytics etc. domains and systems in order to realize the new ambition for L’Oreal USA. The candidate will help fuel the growth and onboarding of new digital channels for L’Oreal brands across Americas (US, CA and LATAM).

What You Will Do:

  • Help create technology strategy to onboard marketplaces, social platforms and eRetail systems into the L’Oreal ecosystem
  • Determine the right IT organization to support execution and operational excellence of L’Oreal ecosystem to support Marketplace technologies with a mix of in-house skills and external service providers
  • Define the YOY budget to operate the platform to support Marketplace, Social and eRetail technologies
  • Create programs and projects to help onboard new channels for L’Oreal brands across US, CA and LATAM regions
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize and plan for onboarding brands to new channels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive implementation efforts across digital, data supply chain, finance, ERP technologies at L’Oreal
  • Help position near-term and long-term technical impacts of solution choices to business stakeholders
  • Assist business stakeholders with TCO and TCB metrics for IT initiatives
  • Setup effective PODs and operating teams to help concurrently execute on business priorities / IT initiatives
  • Work closely with vendor teams to source and staff skills required on Agile delivery team(s)
  • Manage vendor relationships to support short-term and long-term needs of the program and ongoing support
  • Communicate with peers, IT domain / team leads about business priorities and co-plan with with cross-functional teams to execute on the business priorities
  • Ideate and create efficient ways of measuring program success / channel success through use of analytics and reporting tools
  • Participate on steering committee type of forums to share IT updates and operational status of technology solution
  • Facilitate and run calls with local, zone and global audiences to share / communicate program details
  • With the help of industry think tanks, lead and conduct periodic seminars to educate the community about marketplace technologies and innovative business models

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Work experience in eCommerce, Marketplaces, Business, Digital Marketing, Merchandising, or related fields
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal business and IT teams at varying levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for consistently providing a great customer experience
  • The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, is detail oriented, comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced environment, ambitious to always be learning and has an Omni-channel mindset
  • Understanding of integration technologies and patterns – web services (REST, SOAP), Batch, EDI, SFTP / FTP
  • Working knowledge of traditional social platforms and integration (ex: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
  • Microsoft Office applications -- Office Suite (Project, Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio)
  • Experience working with Marketplace platforms such as Mirakl, CommerceHub, Sharetribe, etc. is preferred
  • Experience with eCommerce Marketplace and Online B2B Retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Macy’s JcPenney, Target
  • Strong IT vendor management expertise
  • Possess knowledge of and passion for digital commerce and marketplace platforms
  • Quick, clear writer and an amazing communicator
  • Able to break down a complex technology or problem in a way that is easy to understand
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is a must
  • Responsible for coordinating testing to confirm incident resolution
  • Strong process or functional knowledge of any industry leading eCommerce platform
  • Knowledge of e-marketing KPI’s and general understanding of web analytics
  • Experience in analysis and documentation of technical requirements for technical projects
  • Bachelor’s degree required
