Job Summary: The Director, Professional Aesthetic Training, is a dynamic and visionary leader responsible for defining and executing the comprehensive brand education strategy for skinbetter science. Reporting to the VP of Brand Education, this pivotal role amplifies our unique value proposition, leveraging our innovative product portfolio and distinctive business model across all key stakeholders: internal employees, Authorized Physician Partners (APP), and prospective partners. With a finger on the pulse of the aesthetic industry and the evolving needs of our diverse HCP audience, this Director will drive cutting-edge, omni-channel training programs. This requires exceptional leadership in change management, in-depth product knowledge, advanced curriculum development, and strategic communications. As a key member of the skinbetter science Leadership Team, this role will champion innovative, data-driven solutions, leading complex, cross-functional projects with IT, Operations, Sales, Medical Relations, and Marketing to achieve our brand education goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision & Program Leadership:
- Define and champion the overarching strategy for all professional aesthetic training programs, including education summits, virtual education platforms, and in-office training, ensuring a white-glove customer experience.
- Spearhead high-profile and transformative training initiatives, such as the Better Business Building program, personally leading and presenting key sessions to leverage industry KOLs and thought-leaders, thereby diversifying our educational offerings and cementing our position as unequivocal leaders in the aesthetic space.
- Lead the development of a best-in-class education curriculum for the skinbetter science sales team and internal employees, including ownership of National Sales Meeting planning and execution.
- Participate as a key leader in go-to-market strategies and programs, including new product launches and major product/digital campaigns, ensuring seamless educational implementation with the support of the VP, Brand Education.
- Innovative Curriculum & Content Development:
- Provide strategic scope and direction for all B2B content creation, collaborating with the LMS Manager to design an integrated online/offline education journey that stands out in the aesthetic industry.
- Create and implement standards for ongoing professional development and competency requirements for Education Managers, ensuring relevance to current industry trends and the evolving needs of our HCP partners.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Internal Training and Key Account Development to create synergies across all training channels of business and optimize programming.
- Leverage creative and "outside-the-box" thinking to launch strategic training programs that effectively reach and resonate with our diverse universe of HCPs (dermatologists, nurses, aestheticians, etc.).
- Team Leadership & Talent Development:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of field-based Regional Educators, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Ensure the adoption of best-in-class assets and tools, assess the quality of training being delivered, and provide continuous coaching and feedback to optimize individual and team performance.
- Develop and activate strategies to optimize the performance and impact of the Regional Product Education Team, leveraging their expertise, particularly for programs like Better Connect.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Integration:
- Work seamlessly across all departments, including Sales, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Medical Relations, Medical Affairs, and IT, to ensure training programs and content are strategically aligned with business objectives and remain agile in a dynamic aesthetic industry with the ultimate alignment confirmed by the VP, Brand Education.
- Represent team initiatives and results through compelling presentations to leadership and across the organization.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Marketing to deliver omni-channel educational experiences that align with customer needs and brand objectives related to the product portfolio and Better Connect.
- Data-Driven Effectiveness & Program Optimization:
- Systematically track, monitor, and measure the effectiveness and Return on Investment (ROI) of both internal sales programs and HCP education initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive dashboards and leverage advanced data analytics to evaluate program impact, identify areas for continuous improvement, and recalibrate strategies annually for scalable productivity and maximum impact.
- Maintain a current understanding of education trends, developments, and best practices, conducting competitive analysis to inform and refine strategic educational decisions.
- Create and maintain ROI dashboard to evaluate the effectiveness of programs. Present and solicit feedback from VP of Brand Education to optimize training programs.
- Financial & Operational Oversight:
- Manage the team budget as defined by the VP, strategically identifying resource re-allocation opportunities to maximize impact while protecting program quality.
- Develop and manage departmental contributions and expenses to align with brand P&L targets.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
- Aesthetics License or Medical Credential (e.g., RN, PA) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in education, training within the professional aesthetic skincare industry.
- Proven expertise in curriculum design, content development, and leading the strategic launch of successful, innovative educational programs for both internal teams and external healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and initiative.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholder inputs and convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
