As a Color Scientist, you'll spearhead groundbreaking knowledge and innovation projects, collaborating with teams across Makeup, Haircolor, Skincare, and Haircare métiers worldwide. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge color technologies and products that captivate consumers worldwide.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
You will be leading various color projects in the areas of color science applied to beauty products. You will join the Color Science team and work cross functionally with the makeup labs, hair color labs, Evaluation Intelligence, Augmented Beauty Métier, Brands.
The associated responsibilities are:
- Lead research projects investigating consumer color preferences, considering color appearance and color management principles. This research will help the development of new shades and colors for our makeup and hair color products.
- Analyze and manage color data sets, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive product development and innovation. Contribute to building and structuring our knowledge base of color science.
- Develop and implement algorithms to streamline color-related processes and analyses. This could include automating color matching, color rendering, or personalized color recommendations.
- Evaluate and implement existing methodologies to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and efficiency in color assessment.
- Serve as a data referent for color measurement data, guiding its accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization. Contribute to the data governance protocols specific to color science.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- PhD’s or master's degree with experience in color science, computer vision, physics/optics, electronic engineering.
- Solid understanding of colorimetry, color appearance, psychophysics, and color management systems
- Thorough understanding of color measurement and various color measurement instruments
- Proficient in data analysis. Proven computer programming skills and efficient with software packages (Python, matlab, R, SAS, Excel, etc)
- Demonstrated independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and technical precision.

Preferred:
- Proficient with various forms of artificial intelligence
- Knowledge of pigments/dyes/various color raw material technologies.
