What You Will Learn:

The Supply Planning team manages stock levels across LDB’s distribution centers and 3PL partners by ensuring adequate inventory is available to meet forecasted needs by coordinating with internal teams to minimize shortages and mitigate risks. 

 

This position is responsible for managing inventory flow across LDB's 3PL locations, specializing in the partnership and management of samples with CCG. Key duties include developing and maintaining replenishment models, creating and monitoring the Stock Equation for CCG, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely shipment of transfer orders. The role proactively anticipates and mitigates inventory shortages while minimizing excess and obsolescence (E&O) and conducts comprehensive inventory analysis across all locations to identify and report key supply chain metrics

 

Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Stock equation management for samples maintained at CCG by translating sample stock needs and forecast data into transfer requirements to ensure timely delivery
  • Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and maintaining inventory parameters at CCG
  • Communicates with the GS&OP to understand supply confirmations, analyze stock equations and communicates short to mid-term supply constraints to business stakeholders
  • Management of samples E&O, expiry inventory and action plans.
  • Interact and collaborate with Sales, Marketing & Finance in the management of the forecasts to ensure feedback is provided on high E&O products to attempt depletion  
  • Analyze outputs from stock equations to identify trends, forecast discrepancies/deviations, and provide actionable insights for inventory adjustments and replenishment strategies

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business related field
  • 2+ years supply planning or related analytical experience
  • Basic knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning procedures
  • Possess well-developed communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to be able to build strong work relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
  • Ability to synthesize information and create a clear synopsis of key issues
  • Ability to influence organization
  • Demonstrate ambition, empathy, resilience, learning agility and judgement

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Power BI is a plus
