The Human Resources Director is an integral part of the team and our organization. In this role, the HRD will provide the foundational support and functional expertise that drives proactivity and results across a variety of our Practice areas that include business partner, Strategic Vision, employee relations, compensation & Benefits, , Company Events, Volunteer & Engagement Programs, recruitment, Office Facilities, Company Store & Car Fleet Management, Development of Distributors, Organizational Development, talent management, metrics and other HR Processes.  The HRBP will also work closely with the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources to create and drive talent and business strategy across the Practice areas.

Work with business leaders and Sr. VP, HR to create and drive a talent strategy across the practice areas, to include identification of top talent, the import and export of that top talent and the overall career development of associates for which the HRD is responsible:

- Develop, implement, and facilitate training and development initiatives to meet the specific business needs of the organization.

- Ability to anticipate organizational changes and business needs for client group, together with training lead. Strategically manage, provide counsel to Mancom for team’s professional growth and identify training needs.

- Participate in the design, implementation, and management of compensation initiatives to ensure that compensation practices are linked in the overall strategy to attract, reward, and retain top talent.

- Advocate and facilitate resolutions regarding employee relations issues.

- Drive the annual performance and planning and review (MAP, SALEX) process, including calibration of talent across a variety of different groups, maintaining PRISM system.

- Support with the communication, implementation, and management of compensation initiatives to ensure that compensation practices are linked in the overall strategy to attract, reward, and retain top talent.  

- Drive the principles of meritocracy with business leaders in all talent decisions, including promotions, transfers, and compensation adjustments.

- Drive the biannual HR Review process for a variety of different practice groups/business, including top talent identification (9 Box), organizational strategy and succession planning. Manage succession planning and movement of talent both within and across divisions.

- Partner with hiring managers to assess talent needs and strategy to meet those talent needs with both internal and external recruiting efforts.

- Influence and help adapt the organization to align with business objectives and design and optimize organizational capabilities.

- Lead optimization and reorganization efforts. Communicate and mobilize teams through change.

- Advocate and facilitate resolutions regarding employee relations issues. Provide advice and coaching to Mancom to ensure compliance on our work environment vision and L’Oréal code of ethics.

- Enforce workplace policy, including conducting investigations and recommend course of action.

- Lead development, communication and implementation of strategic HR programs and policies.

- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and trends.

- Generate a variety of reports as requested by HR, Finance, and other business leaders

- Process and maintain organization and employee updates in PRISM, Etime, ADP, to ensure that reporting structures/job titles/cost centers are correct and current.

- Analyze Human Resources key metrics (turnover, exit interviews, days to fill positions, cost per hire) and utilize data for process improvements.

- Partner with management to prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position, answer general HR questions and resolves issues in a timely manner.

- Benefits Administration

- Special Events Coordination

- Drive other special projects where needed

Years of Experience

7-10 yrs experience in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related experience. MBA & PHR desired

 

Education

Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration
