Lead & drive the L‘ORÉAL Austria / Germany transformation in the digital age, fueling our brand portfolio and delivering the best beauty experience & services by putting people and communities at the heart of digital marketing with rigorous consumer focus and leveraging data – for tangible business results.
Reporting to the CMO, the Digital Director Corporate is a key change agent towards continuous digital transformation based on aligned business KPIs and by building, animating & developing a strong digital community, with a specific focus on Advocacy, Earned Media, Social Commerce Strategies, Owned Media Platform Acceleration, Open Innovation and Digital Upskilling.

Responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with all CMO and Division/Brand stakeholders, monitor digital performance and consumer engagement on relevant business KPIs and report progress regularly
  • Streamline digital partners ecosystem, consult and support brands with the optimized operating model (content, IMC campaigns…) to tailor the global digital strategy to the local characteristics for the brands
  • Be the key driver of conversational commerce, build and steer our holistic consumer engagement center (Consumer Care & Social Responding) towards the direction conversion/business driver. Transform our consumer contacts and experiences by fostering consumer dialogue that converts, building advocacy strategies, leveraging Earned Media through influencers and brand ambassadors, and developing social/conversational commerce strategies
    Oversee a strategic approach to social media platforms usage and provide relevant strategies, tools and insights in order to support digital marketing campaigns and the wider aims of the Brands
  • Drive Influencer Marketing and create clarity on sales & brand awareness/image impact as well as the impact per category in order to make the right investment decisions. Level up the L‘ORÉAL powerhouse for better Influencers deals a better ROI
  • Drive the strategies for owned media platforms (social and websites) and provide our business with strategic consultation, tools and skills to drive content and enhance visibility of owned assets, incl.  on search engines (Google, Amazon, Youtube, Pinterest…).
  • Be at the forefront of digital trends, topics and new (social) platforms. Fuel the business with the right insights and strategies, foster pilots and share learnings cross-divisional
  • Lead the Digital Open Innovation Strategy with focus on tech for good/sustainable Open Innovation. Maintain understanding of the start up landscape, latest digital opportunities and trends in consumer interaction and share proactively
  • Develop a thriving community of digital professionals and make L'Oréal a top destination for digital talents
  • Come up with innovative ways to communicate, engage & excite the German organization in terms of digital transformation and create experiences that are helpful, business oriented and enable sharing across all Brands
  • Provide and develop a framework for digital upskilling reflecting current and future organizational needs in close collaboration with HR Learning Team
  • Manage sharing platforms and forums to animate the CMO and local marketing & digital community

Requirements
  • 10-15 years’ experience, incl. ideally experiences in various digital and marketing functions within the FMCG or fashion branch
  • Champion the digital experience, is obsessed with consumer centricity, builds audience through relevant content and masters digital marketing tactics
  • Ability to strategizes digital transformation, drives the change toward brand and consumer centricity, leads toward data-driven organization and ipskills and transmits digital knowledge and mindset
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others, plus the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, act as a strategic business partner and leads with strong agile project management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate and influence decision making with all levels in the organization (business, executive, technical)
  • Demonstrated passion for innovation and emerging digital technologies and ability to drive innovation
  • Ability to communicate and rally teams and individuals around a vision and Visionary and be an inspiring team manager
