Assistant Manager, Business Analysis – L’Oreal Company Stores


Key Job Accountabilities

  • Design, create, and update all Company Store sales reporting throughout the year
  • Master the Matrix Inventory Solutions POS software to manage and oversee daily operations & maintenance. This will include:
    • Utilizing SAP integration to add new product SKUs to the master database
    • Completing inventory movements such a product transfers, adjustments and receivers
    • Reviewing monthly POs to ensure orders are successfully exporting to SAP for timely processing
    • Placing orders for seasonal gift sets allocated to the division
    • Managing month end inventory process to confirm inventory values and head office sales reconciliation
    • Overseeing the annual inventory physical count process to ensure proper documentation is in place for each store location
  • Generate numerous reports from Matrix POS to update sales reporting and execute ad-hoc analysis requests
  • Collaborate with Director and Finance partners to establish and revise sales phasing throughout the year for both stores and divisions
  • Participate in weekly meetings with HQ team to provide business performance updates, plan monthly promotions, etc.
  • Provide analytical support to identify promotional opportunities while also reducing aging/excess inventory in both the stores & warehouse
  • Work with HQ Team and Matrix POS consultant to solve software and store related challenges
  • Edit, finalize, and distribute store signup sheets in preparation for special reserved shopping days at the end of each week
  • Communicate store promotion details and logistics with Company Store team
  • Update brand order forms in collaboration with customer service teams
  • Calculate and administer the Company Store Reward & Incentive Sales Program (CRISP) payouts to store staff on a monthly basis
  • Organize and apply brand price changes at the beginning of each year
  • Collaborate with brand & sales operations teams from IDC, Lancôme, and Kiehl’s to secure seasonal gift set allocations (i.e. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Holiday – Q4)
  • Obtain and prepare first half and second half order forms for store teams to utilize when placing monthly product orders
  • Responsible for managing and training Company Store intern
