As part of the Transformation Program, and to contribute to “API first” strategy, L’Oréal IT is looking for new talents.


Responsibilities and main missions:

As a member of the IT EMEA Integration team, the position requires technical and architecture background and hands on a strong experience on API tools (Google APIGEE). It requires as well close working relationships with Group/Zone hub IT teams, business partners, external partners and all the integration team members.

Key job accountabilities:

  • Design and propose solutions using Google Apigee within the Hybrid Integration Platform framework
  • Define the “API first” strategy for IT EMEA in accordance with Group guidelines
  • Conduct API workshops and facilitate requirement gathering
  • Design and develop APIs to support integrations with internal and external partners on various channels
  • Define and lead the migration to APIGEE of the existing CA Layer7 APIs
  • Contribute to API catalog for self-service enrichment
  • Contribute to API awareness within integration team and across IT EMEA
  • Support IT EMEA teams in API related topics
  • Participate to Design Authority sessions by contributing to integration workshops
  • Support Security team for API related topics
  • Contribute to L’Oréal APIGEE master roadmap and evolution
  • Contribute to the cartography of the Information System


Experience and expected qualities:

  • 5-7+ years of experience including:
  • Ability to work in multiple simultaneous projects
  • Teamwork in a multinational environment
  • Have a customer focused attitude
  • Appetence for integration technologies and architecture
  • Capacity to work with offshore resources

Technical skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in designing and building APIs on Apigee platform
  • Detailed knowledge of Apigee components and architecture
  • Knowledge on configuring API Security (OAuth, JWT, 2 way SSL etc)
  • Knowledge in other API solutions like CA Layer7 is a plus
  • Knowledge in Integration technologies such as IBM sterling, Tibco BW, Informatica PowerCenter
  • Understanding of integration patterns and middleware concepts
  • Experience developing with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc.
  • Experience in Scripting technologies like Java script
  • Knowledge of CA Layer7 is a plus
