As a Commercial Director of Professional Products Division (PPD), you will work in close partnership and under the supervision of the Professional Products Division General Manager in order to develop and implement the division commercial strategy by channel across the retailer/customer portfolio, and further Create Beauty That Moves the World. You are expected to manage the following:

• Build and achieve the Division results: turnover, market share, profit; consolidate, steer the budget and P&L
• Responsible for total O+O Commercial Project Coordination
• Build strong business relationships: build a strong relationship with the top management of salons and distributors and find as much strategic alignment as possible. Seek to overcome roadblocks as necessary
• Drive JBP discussion with key partners, co-create vision for future growth in both revenue and profitability
• Lead cross functional discussions for all salons and distributors’ related topics
• Lead all trading terms discussion and negotiation for top customers to ensure contract is signed for business continuity
• Build a team and foster a culture of excellence: supervise the channel or group of accounts
• Building team competency on commercial understanding, business acumen, selling story, negotiations, using data to drive business discussions, key account management, etc
• Lead Matrix Business Unit – full P&L management and set brand strategy and direction across commercial, marketing and education.
• Lead and provide strategic direction for division digital projects and ensures adoption and scalability

Who are we looking for?

• A graduate with a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent;
• Has at least 10 years work experience in Commercial
• Demonstrated effectiveness in coaching & developing talent
• Good project management skills and effective communication skills
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and operate independently with ambiguity
• A true Team Player
• A solid networker that builds strong relationships with employees and stakeholders across the organisational hierarchies
• A challenger who questions the status quo and pushes teams to achieve objectives
