Full - Time
11-Dec-2020
L’Oréal strives to win over another one billion consumers around the world by innovating and creating products that meet the infinite diversity of our consumer’s needs, and we want you to help us reach this goal! We want to hire great people with unexpected ideas, the ability to challenge the status quo, and are ready to shape and disrupt the future of beauty. “Run it as you own business” is our mantra. Got what it takes? We are currently looking for a Nordic Business Analyst to be based in Copenhagen.

Make data accessible from everyone in the division and ensure it is properly used for achieving division’s ambitious targets. It is a role at the heart of our business and vital for our on-going success.

You will be responsible for consolidating the Nordic view of sell-in/sell-out/customer stock data as well as all business activity plans that have a direct influence on sales. By clustering, shaping and disseminating, your ultimate purpose is to provide a synthesis that contributes to data driven decision making from all business stakeholders in the Nordics. You will work closely with all functions receiving inputs and consulting them on how to use accurately and efficiently your work in their tasks.

In your role you will have direct reporting to the Nordic Commercial director and matrix reporting to the Nordic Supply Chain director.

Your key job accountabilities include:
  • Work in close collaboration with our marketing and sales teams in order to consolidate the externally sourced data (sell-out/stock), identify key trends in the different market channels and compose illustrative data dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams in order to ensure that their commercial promo planning is done in a timely and qualitative manner while being in line with the internal strategic pillars and reflects correctly the key market figures.
  • Demonstrate high integrity and develop strong relationships within marketing, commercial, business development, supply chain and finance. Receive business insights and consult on how the synthesis of these insights can be used in their daily work.
  • Ensure visibility on the way launches are managed among marketing, commercial and supply teams. Be the gatekeeper and monitor the consistency of launches from original strategic planning to actual execution. Report your findings through dedicated dashboards that indicate actual performance versus original targets (market share, sell-out/sell-in vs benchmark, cannibalization effects).
  • Interact monthly with the Nordic supply chain team and ensure your collected insights are well integrated in the Nordic forecasting process.
  • Be the connecting link among teams ensuring more integration and less silo working.
Your profile

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent understanding of key business principles combined with strong analytical and communication skills. You must be adaptive and able to collaborate and influence a diverse group of stakeholders that share different perspectives. The ideal candidate has:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative business disciplines
