Job Summary
The Director, International Business Development is responsible for spearheading the international business development of the CeraVe brand in existing and opening markets consistent with the qualitative and financial requirements of the Active Cosmetics division.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and capitalize on strategic opportunities for significant brand development and market expansion globally, thru complex market data analysis & consumer studies deep dives
- Play a pivotal role in the global strategic planning process, contributing significantly to the development and refinement of CeraVe’s 3-year global business strategy.
- Direct comprehensive market research initiatives focused on business development, extracting critical, actionable insights to inform and guide strategic decisions across all relevant DMI departments.
- Serve as the primary strategic and operational conduit between the DMI (International Marketing Department) and international zones/countries for all key initiatives.
- Orchestrate and champion robust cross-functional collaboration and coordination with internal departments including Marketing and Medical to ensure cohesive global strategies.
- Drive the systematic identification, documentation, and global dissemination of market best practices and actionable insights across international territories.
- Champion the strategic needs and diverse perspectives of global markets within DMI executive discussions, ensuring market-centric decision-making.
- Articulate and represent the DMI's strategic vision, objectives, and key initiatives to international zones and countries, ensuring alignment and strong execution.
- Proficiency in leveraging complex data and market insights to inform strategic choices and optimize performance.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with a strong focus on achieving ambitious business objectives in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 10-13+ years of progressively responsible business experience in an international role working directly with countries.
- Experience/Understanding on Brand, Product Development and Operational Marketing.
- Skincare and medical business model experience required.
- Strong knowledge of global cultural nuances as it relates to doing business in the international forum.
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to build strong partnerships across a diverse population.
- Excellent networking and communication skills.
