As Customs Specialist (import/export) you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring compliance with L’Oréal Group’s and Customs Law procedures and norms.
  • Managing local certification and associated renewal customs audits.
  • Managing with General Manager and CFO local customs controls, litigations, report to DGO/DGAF the status, and follow up of these situations.
  • Organizing both import and export customs clearance processes (FG, PLV), taking care of the Group's interest and in line with Code of Ethics.
  • Negotiating with service providers (brokers).
  • Coordinating and instructing customs brokers acting on behalf L’Oréal Group.
  • Formalizing the processes, preparing all necessary documents required by customs (letters, price validation, etc.); on-time clearance of import / export goods (in cooperation with the Transport Manager and customs operators); organizing and coordinating the physical flow of documents within timelines with necessary translations; setting priorities for the clearance.
  • Ensuring customs data management (HS codes, origin, long-term declarations, archiving policy…).
  • Managing training and technical update for teams concerned by customs matters.
  • Supporting Customer Service on all Customs related issues. Follow-Up of the customs costs (duties and fees) and irregularities.

  • Have experience in working with customs (law and operational perspective).
  • Have good knowledge about Customs Law and can easily navigate in this area.
  • Have experience in working with products from EU and outside of EU.
  • Have experience in providing tranings.
  • Have project management skills.
  • Are outgoing and proactive.
  • Enjoy working in a team and have great interpersonal skills.
  • Have proficiency in using MS Office tools. (Previous experience with SAP, Customs referent certification, tranings on basic customs regulations/customs law will be an asset.)

  • Are fluent in Polish and English (B2).
