POSITION: E-Commerce Systems Integration Manager


REPORTS TO: Digital Product Director, E-Commerce

LOCATION: St. Petersburg, Florida (SalonCentric National Operations Center)



The E-Commerce Systems Integration Manager directly influences revenue by developing our third-party marketplace and specializes in bringing together component subsystems into a whole and ensuring that those subsystems function together. Cross-functional collaboration is critical to this role in ensuring the vision of all key stakeholders is achieved, while also driving the best possible customer experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic self-starter with proven problem-solving and support skills to deliver exact and prompt technical support. The Integration Manager will apply a consultative approach to onboarding third-party sellers plus diagnosing and resolving technical issues with both internal and external resources. Data quality issues are an important part of the work of the systems integration role, along with solving problems related to automation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment, and has an Omni-channel mindset.



  • Understand existing processes to support efficient business decisions plus assist with new ways of system integrations and automation 
  • Support third-party sellers with synchronizing their product catalog, inventory, order management, and accounting on the platform with API (Application Programming Interfaces) integration methods
  • Be the first point of contact for marketplace managers and customer care in case of functional issues
  • Partner with various stakeholders to translate business requirements and technical specifications
  • Support user acceptance testing
  • Consult third-party sellers on diverse options to address business requirements by:
    • Leveraging best practices
    • Consider downstream effects of configuration choices
    • Applying understanding of data flow in Marketplace platform, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and third-party applications   
  • Project Management:
    • Create and follow an agile project plan using effort estimation, outline action items, measure progress, make adjustments, and follow the plan through to completion
    • Provide stakeholders with significant and timely updates
    • Collaborate with third-party sellers, SalonCentric teams, L'Oreal teams, and vendors to conduct thorough testing to deliver a complete and high-quality solution
    • Understand and adhere to SalonCentric internal business processes to champion third-party seller success
    • Demonstrate product expertise/knowledge of the Marketplace application and how various modules interact with and impact each other
    • Collaborate with Product Management, Development, Implementation, and Support teams to identify gaps, implement processes and tooling initiatives to improve implementation quality



  • An industry-related bachelor's degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and related e-commerce or technology fieldwork experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B or B2C e-commerce is preferred

  • Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, and the candidate should have the ability to quickly learn other specific software
  • Knowledge of software development processes and concepts
  • Proficient in technical debugging, determining root cause, and approaches to challenges
  • Experience with structured data formats such as XML and JSON
  • Proficient with internet-related technologies and languages such as FTP/SFTP, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) – REST and SOAP, HTML, CSS, C#, JavaScript, & web services
  • Proficient with Postman, which is an API platform for building and using APIs, including API key setup or retrieval, and downloading & installing API libraries, plus editing params (used to specify a parameter that takes a variable number of arguments) or body data
  • Familiarity with e-commerce applications and software, plus knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, & Jira is a bonus
  • Experience working with Marketplace platforms such as Mirakl, CommerceHub, Sharetribe, etc., is a plus
