Senior Trade Activation Manager - Skincare and Make-Up - Boutiques, Premium and Department Stores - LUXE

We are currently recruiting for x 3 STAMs across the above verticals. 


I am the SENIOR TRADE ACTIVATION MANAGER, and I am responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy for the brand and ensuring its execution in partnership with the commercial team for my Premium, Department Stores and Free Standing Stores. I work closely with the product and engagement team to deliver the strongest cutting edge 360 campaigns .  I work closely with the commercial, finance and revenue growth management teams to influence and monitor sell out and profit and loss go-to-market (P&L GTN).


A DAY IN THE LIFE -KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

GO-TO-MARKET STRATEGY 

    In partnership with product and commercial team

    Translate the brand plan to define winning brand go-to-market strategies using key market insights for my channel

    Partner with account managers to build tailored plans per retailer.

    Craft the strongest activation strategies for Kiehl’s Boutiques, recognising the pivotal role they play within the Distribution ecosystem, with a strong focus on how to animate 360 levers: Traffic Driving, Health Skin Services, Consultations, Skin Pros productivity, comms and services, management of stock and excess and obsolete (E&O)

    Monitor and drive store performance and productivity in my channel, recommend open/ close Point of Sale (POS) door list.

    Partner with Retail & Education teams, lead pre-activation hype calls.

    Represent Business Unit in key meetings with Retailers.

MONITORING & ACCELERATING SELL OUT

    Lead the measurement, tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of all activation initiatives in order to create gather learnings, maximise efficiencies and drive ROI on all our investments.

    Map out all Free Standing Stores and understand current vs. potential return on investment and optimise productivity, with a strong focus on P&L and Rex Management.  

    Lead delivery of monthly reports showcasing best-in-class trade activation across retailers and competitors

    Report on door productivity and actively share with team

    Collaborate with Commercial team on PSAs

    CRM insights sharing with Brand Team to craft the strongest retention strategies.

    Effective management of  slow moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB)  

CREATING BESPOKE ACTIVATIONS FOR YOUR CHANNEL

    Manage Trade budgets for your channel ensuring highest ROI. Timely PPP input.

    Brief Visual Merchandising Team in partnership with the brand team& oversee delivery of brand creatives/ materials to retailer (online and offline) Ensure market share winning plan in Q4

    Develop retailer POM, Gift with Purchase & Coffret plan with relevant Trade Lead for your channel

    Forecasting, ongoing management and analysis of all trade tools inventory, including wrapping, testers and samples 

    Ensure Day 1 go live check and verification of activations

    Contribute to best-in-class retailer strategy decks grounded in consumer and retail insights leading through activation, working hand in hand with the National Account Managers and the wider brand marketing team

    Develop and nurture trusted relationships with Zone/DMI team to influence global plans that best meet UK market requirements

    For Kiehl's, boutique activation including opening and closure communication, product recycling, outreach and eventing materials
