In the department of SRC, we are looking for a Product Safety Evaluation Manager

As a Product Safety Evaluation Manager, your main responsibilities are : 
  • Partner with métier on safety related issues and conduct safety evaluation for formulas and raw materials in a timely manner to support cosmetic product development in different Asia R&I hubs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled technical professionals in APAC safety, continually help the team members to grow in the expertise of safety.
  • Aligning within the global organization of safety on specific safety related topics and key projects. Coordinate/perform/monitor the implementation of the safety positions in region to guarantee the consistency of safety worldwide.
  • Work with management on issues related to safety in terms of company responses and positions on our products.
  • Closely follow the key technical points of métiers in the responsible domain (technologies, formulations, products, raw materials...), and ensure timely sharing of key activities/progress/anticipated obstacles.

To succeed in this position, you have : 
  • Education background
  • Required professional experience
  • Mandatory technical skills and Nice to have technical skills
  • Fluent in English

You are : 
  • Ph.D./MS in toxicology, pharmacology, biomedical sciences, or chemistry required. 5- 10 years’ experiences in toxicology related area.
  • Familiar with the pre-clinical and clinical studies and be able to summarize findings accurately.
  • Deeply understand the standard scientific principles, concepts and techniques on safety evaluation of cosmetic products and ingredients. 
  • Experiences on preparing safety related information and documentation for the regulatory lobbying.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team work spirit with the ability to work effectively in a matrix-type organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
