WHO WE ARE:
Finance team at L'Oréal plays a critical role in safeguarding the company's financial health and stability. They provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, manage risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Finance team contributes to the overall success and sustainability of L'Oréal.
Job Title: 3CE Finance – Operations Controller
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The 3CE Finance - Operations Controller should focus on the following job accountabilities.
1. Sourcing controlling analysis and simulation for business improvement
Purchasing prices:
- Make sure that purchasing price are well updated in the systems.
- Run monthly analysis to identify possible gaps between theoretical purchasing price and true buying price; take corrective actions if needed.
- Help to define purchasing price frame by make-up technology and run ad hoc profitability study on new launches.
- On a yearly basis, review N+1 purchasing price hypothesis with Sourcing team, calculate risks and opportunities for Budget construction.
Moving average prices (MAP):
- Make sure that MAP are well reflected in the system.
- Run monthly analysis to identify gaps between budget construction and reality of MAP.
2. Margin controlling
Economic hypothesis (pricing/costing): collect review and challenge all the economic hypothesis used to build transfer prices before any construction (Pre-budget, Budget, and Trend updates)
- Discuss and review hypothesis with different stakeholders (HR, MSL, Corporate Controlling, Product Development, etc.).
- Analyze the main variations from one construction to another and propose.
Calculate transfer prices: according to Group methodology
- To guarantee IG margin and Profit as per standards.
- To communicate in due time to our Commercial entities for their construction.
- To be updated throughout the years in case of adjustments needed.
International Distribution Center controlling: monitor and control IDC costs operated by a 3PL
- Make sure about the invoicing methodology and process.
- Define and share common reporting on the IDC activities to internal management.
Monthly closing
- Perform as per a Group calendar all the monthly closing tasks related to cost recognition as per the perimeter (IDC, SG&A, Molds amortizations)
- Perform COG variance analysis post-closing
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education: University graduate (Accounting, Finance, or any relevant Business/Finance major preferred)
- Years of experience: min. 5~7 years’ experience for Accounting & Tax & FP&A team.
- Specific Career Experience:
- Basic understanding of Transfer Price.
- Listed & Global company or overseas subsidiary management experience preferred.
- Must showcase advanced-level the MS Excel
- SAP experience preferred.
- Language: Fluent in both Korean and English
