3) lead digital transformation toward customer centric, data-driven organization through data strategy and activation


Data Strategy & Solutions

  • Build and implement corporate-level strategy for data management & activation in order to achieve business growth & consumer experiences
  • Lead transversal global/zone/local data projects as the local head of data strategy, mobilizing related parties
  • Lead data analysis to understand customer insights and needs for brand business through any consumer related data both internal and external
  • Collaborate with and support brand and other stakeholders to identify the business requirements and data related challenges to solve
  • Develop innovative and effective approaches based on business analysis, data analysis, data modeling, statistical analysis and predictive modelling
  • Design experiments, test hypotheses and build models in order to address to business needs
  • Share the solutions with divisions and brand teams and coach them to implement them into daily brand business
  • Influence and support to develop digital and data strategy of all division by analyzing data and give strategic advice
  • Present and depict the outcomes of their finding in easy to understand terms for the business stakeholders

Data Governance (Quality, Security, Privacy)

  • Define and implement governance for data management and activation
  • Collaborate with related parties to select the relevant sources of information (primary or secondary data sources, strategic approach…)
  • Works with Digital IT teams to support proper data collection, integration and retention of business teams
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Lead and ensure data security & privacy from business side, co-working legal, IT and other support functions

Digital Transformation toward Customer Centricity and Data-Driven Organization

  • Support CDO and management in digital transformation through various data analysis, toward consumer centricity and data-driven organization
  • Upskills and transmits digital/data knowledge and mindset in the organization, collaborating with Learning team and other stakeholders

Team Management

  • Manage Data Analyst and external partners/vendors
  • Indirectly manage and coach division/brand data-related members

Professional & Technical Competence

  • Strategic thinking by translating data into business growth strategy in media
  • Strong analytic skill set in data and business information
  • Comprehensive understanding on KPI and performance
  • Good understanding on consumer and behaviour understanding
  • Rigorous ROI & data analysis using multiple source of data and information in order to prospectively guide the business strategy
  • Manages data platforms and utilize the platform to bring creative solutions
  • Be sharp and meticulous to manage quantitative information
  • Manages internal tools, systems and processes required for data management
  • Good communication & presentation skills both in Japanese & English, assertive and articulate
  • Good at Microsoft Office


  • More than 5-year experience in data strategy, management and/or analysis around consumers, based on various methodologies
  • Experiences of data related project management involving various stakeholders including company top management
  • Strong experience working with IT teams in digital/data platforms
  • Experiences of people management
  • Experiences of working in matrix organization plus (multi-brand company)
  • Market research experiences plus
  • Experience in the following tools/systems plus: Microsoft Access, VBA, SAS, SPSS, SQL, Siebel, Salesforce, GA, Google Doubleclick, Sprinklr, Searchmetrix,  SimilarWeb
