Overview of the role

The successful candidate will be responsible of the implementation of internal IT transformation projects in North Asia, South Asia Pacific, Middle East & North Africa.  He/she will lead the coordination of global initiatives; to ensure that the Zone’s priorities are taken into consideration.

As the position requires a mix of IT project management tied with strong strategic business experience, the capability to develop strategic plans and deliver well-thought through change management plans is critical to the success of the role. He/she must have led a significant program within an organization through transformation and has delivered real change in relation to the employee community.

He/she should possess the ability to analyze/ understand systems from the end-user perspective and how they can support business.  And hence able to balance the role of strategist with urgency to deliver results, and yet can execute operationally.

Have the capacity to lead in global context and have close working relationships with the regional hub IT teams, other corporate functions, business partners and external partners.  He/she should also be able to handle senior stakeholder engagement comfortably and drive top-top conversations.  The position will report to the North Asia (NA) & South-Asia Pacific, Middle East, North Africa (SAPMENA) CIO based in Singapore and lead a team of 3.

Responsibilities

Animate IT governance

Proactively manage business expectations and monitor customer satisfaction levels through relevant service metrics and measures,

Look after cross-functional IT management capabilities that enable both well-run IT operations (run the business) and new strategic business contributions (grow the business),

Strategically manage the Group's IT initiatives portfolio and consolidate requests,

Support the business on the monitoring and realization of the value delivered by IT Initiatives

Act as a proactive business partner: actively listen to internal/external customers, articulate and clarify /translate customer needs into IT implications.

Make decisions in several functional environments.

Demonstrate an ability to challenge strategic plans.

Own and facilitate the IT/Business global governance for the domain.


Key Goals

Drive and follow up transformation initiatives including IT Transformation Program

a. Responsible for the IT NA & SAPMENA transformation program coordination

b. Define the Transformation Program roll-out strategy in alignment with the Beauty Tech ambitions

c. Sponsor and/or lead specific work streams (IT Process Excellence, IT Governance, IT Performance Management, Communication & Change Management) 

d. Define/adapt the change management activities in collaboration with HR, and Internal Communications teams to ensure the roll-out


Advocate the highest standards of IT Portfolio Management to ensure value creation for the Business

a. Support the management of the NA & SAPMENA IT roadmap and project portfolio, ensuring the proper governance, committees, dashboards and KPIs are put in place

b. Facilitate the strategic decision making process (Strategic Plan, Group CPP, Zone CPP, Governance Meeting, Project Review, IT Zone Mancom…)

c. Structure PMO’s practice & Animate PMOs Community (Zone & Hubs)

d. Represent NA & SAPMENA for IT Global CIO Office new initiatives (ServiceNow, PPM reframing, methodology, …)


Provide effective communication across the Zone

a. Responsible for Communication at Zone level

b. Produce communication supports/events for Zone & Hub levels 

c. Collaborate with IT Global Communication Team and represent L’Oréal IT on new initiatives


Lead & animate CIO Office

a. Regular communication, Steering committee setup (IT Zone Mancom, Business Strategic Committees, Specific communication, or events, IT Global relationship…)

b. Ensure the effective implementation of new process, solutions and the consistency with the expressed needs

c. Rollout Methodology definition (Tools, best practice, communication and training kit…)  

d. Develop and communicate clear and actionable deliverables

e. Define and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

f. Ensure IT standards are followed and Support Change management

  • Results-driven leader with 10 to 15 years’ experience, who has led a significant program within an organization through IT transformation and has delivered real change in relation to the employee community 
  • Ability to analyze/ understand systems from the end-user perspective and how they can support business
  • Ability to balance the role of strategist with urgency to deliver results
  • Capability to contribute strategically as well as tactically and operationally
  • Capacity to lead a worldwide team and to coordinate with other Corporate functions
