Data Driven Experience Team (DDX): The DDX teams mission is to build the largest beauty database in the world, in order to provide consumers with a best in class digital experience. Our focus is on the data strategies and technologies that are required to build a best in class asset and supporting programs for our brands.
Job Summary: The Director of Audience Insights & Data Partnerships is a highly strategic role in the group, responsible for building our overall audience strategy that supports the needs of brands and consumers in reaching new and existing consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Audience Strategy Development: Develop and implement holistic audience strategies that align with overall business objectives, encompassing target audience identification, segmentation, profiling, and engagement. Bring new beauty consumer insights to the brands to support up-stream media campaign planning.
- Oversee Data Partnerships: Manage the roadmap for strategic data partnerships, identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new partners to enhance our data ecosystem and audience understanding.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with brand marketing teams, divisional teams and agency teams to build holistic audience strategies that deliver on key business objectives.
- Measurement and Reporting: Establish clear KPIs and reporting frameworks to track the effectiveness of audience strategies and data partnerships, demonstrating ROI and continuous improvement.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science, audience insights, and partnership management.
- Data for Business: Utilize a variety of tools and technologies to analyze and visualize data and translate into actionable insights
- Translate Business Objectives into Actionable Audience Strategies: using 1P, 2P, 3P data to drive personalization and segmentation that goes deeper than standard demographics
- Best Practice/Upskilling: Upskill and educate the organization and agencies on audience best practices
A successful candidate in this role is:
- Strong understanding of precision media strategic and tech landscape
- Primary experience in audience development, data driven marketing, digital operations
- A thorough understanding of 1P, 2P, 3P data landscape and how it can drive marketing.
- Ability to lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans
- Highlight collaborative across different stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Ability to lead technical/data science teams without feeling lost
Requirements:
- 7+ years of escalating experience & track record of success
- Passion for fast moving transformation roles; passion for making business impact
- Experience working in complex matrix environments
- Hybrid between technology, business and agency background
- Experience with next generation data management platforms (i.e.Liveramp, Salesforce, GCP, AWS/AMC, etc.)
- Budget management, project management, vendor management
- Excellent communication skills; ability to influence at the most senior levels
- Self-motivated; autonomous and collaborative as needed
- Ability to execute in the short term while designing the future
