The Connected Beauty Team belongs to the L’Oréal Global Beauty Tech. The team is responsible for developing and industrializing mobile applications including devices (B2B and B2B2C) in order to support L’Oréal ambitions to deliver more innovative services and solutions and to become the leader player in Beauty Tech. The developments are operated through the Connected Beauty platform who is an iPaaS solution deployed on Kubernetes and we serve all L’Oréal Divisions (Active Cosmetics, Luxe, Professional Products, Consumer Products).

The Connected Beauty Teams acts as:

  • - IT Owners, responsible for the entire Life cycle Management of projects (end-to-end development) of IOS native / IOS & Android cross-platform applications.
  • - Service provider for projects lead by other L’Oréal entities that are requiring the capabilities of the Connected beauty platform itself.

The team consists of an average of 13 people, sharing the same values and passion in delivering best in class services.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO IN NUTSHELL!

We can summarize your missions in 3 main objectives:

Be responsible for all technical activities occurring within the team (on both platform & application’s development) by ensuring alignment in the technical direction and compliancy with the Enterprise Architecture recommendations.

Be fully involved in the CBP projects by:

Understanding the business context and have them translated into technical specifications.

Assessing Architectural and technical requirements and impacts on the “as-is” CBP architecture/

Estimating the project cost on a technical standpoint with the development team.

Supporting the development team by helping them to solve technical challenges.

Identifying all L’Oréal systems with which an integration is required and following-up with the activities.

Contribute in the scoping of future projects and in the staffing of the team in coordination with the head of the platform (external consultancy representing 95% of the team).

As we operate at an international level, being fluent in English is a must to ease your daily activities.

Last but not least, as you will be playing a predominant role within the Connected Beauty, we welcome proactive and problem-solving oriented profile.

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have significant experience:

  • IPaas (Integration Platform as a service) and CaaS (Container Management as a Platform - AKS) to successfully integrate all projects for which data are stored on the Connected Beauty Platform which is built in Azure.
  • Cloud and related security policies as all our services are hosted on the cloud (Azure).
  • 7 years of professional experience at least as you will have the ownership on technical subject.

And finally, you may not be an expert with all requirements listed below, however, you must show great curiosity in understanding the non-mastered technologies/softwares such as:

  • Mobile apps technologies IOS/Android native
  • Front end technologies: Java Angular, TypeScript
  • APIs
  • .net / C# / python
